Ubud Bali Inspired Tote

Ubud, Bali is a magical rainforest.  Walking with my guide on the local bird walk impressed e to create this bag.  We were treated to a variety of birds, plants that were edible, and just colorful.  The patterns on the bag, architectural motifs, came from the carvings in stone as alters or just wood carvings from homes.  All of these patterns are symbols for the people living there and are often repeated in their batik textiles.  Cloth is sacred to them and a way of expressing themselves to their gods.
